Abstract

This study aims to analyze the micro business of lingkung tuna (Thunnus sp.) chili sauce as a poverty alleviation for coastal communities in Gudang Lelang, Bandar Lampung city. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Informants in this study consisted of coastal communities, Fisheries Extension Officers of Bandar Lampung City, and village unit cooperative (KUD) Mina Jaya. Data analysis was carried out through three activity flows that took place simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the study indicate that the lingkung tuna (Thunnus sp.) chili sauce is relevant, appropriate, and can be used in Gudang Lelang, Bandar Lampung city. This product has advantages This product has the advantage that the ingredients are easy to obtain, can be produced at any time using household equipment, and can be done independently. The processing of this product is carried out through the stages of preparing ingredients [tuna (Thunnus sp.), coconut, and spices], processing for approximately 8 hours, product packaging, and offline or online marketing. The lingkung tuna (Thunnus sp.) chili sauce business has advantages, namely that the ingredients are easy to obtain, can be produced at any time using household appliances, and can be done independently. Based on the before-after analysis, it is known that there is a positive impact with a profit of >50% of the capital, which can be seen from the utilization of unsold or low-priced tuna (Thunnus sp.) for salting into products that have high selling value.
